Post 2 - my best holiday!

Hi again! i'm here to talk about my best holiday, were in february of 2017, they went in Valparaiso, this is one of reasons why it was my best holiday, because it's the most beautiful place I have ever know, that was the first time I tourned the hills of the city and I fell in love with the streets, the architecture, the elevators and the art of murals. I visited Valparaiso with my family (mom, dad, and brother)and we stayed in my aunt's house for five days. My dad knows Valparaiso very well because he lived there, so he showed us the hills, even my aunt who lived there, who didn't know all the hills. For this, it has been the best so far, because all enjoyed it! we walked a lot, we laughed and I took many photos that I keep to this day. From that year until now, I try to go every summer to discover new places in the city and improve my photographs. Here are some photos that I took in 2017:

  1. hi bárbara. i had never been in valparaiso until last year when we went with my school for pedagogical reasons. i loved it. what most caught my attention were the murals and architecture of valparaiso. however, there were plenty of abandoned and careless places that i´m sure if we took better care of them, we could make valparaiso a more beautiful city. regards :)

Post 4 - I love Cactus

Today i'm going to talk about cactus, I love them and I have many in my house, specifically in the yard because I am very superstitious and I don't like having them inside the house because there are people who say that it attracts bad vibes but I have also heard that it helps to eliminate them. However I prefer that they are outside so that the sunlight can better reach them. I water them once a week when it's really hot like now. I have about twenty cactus, at the beginning I had less but over time they reproduce more cactus. Most of these have been given to me because the closest people know that I like to have them and take care of them. Two years ago when I was on my way to work, there was a "kiosco" and they sold plants, there I bought the biggest cactus that I have. The lady who sold it to me, told me that this cactus gave a flower once a year and lasted one day alive. Recently I thought it was a lie and that I had been scamed, but a week ago a flower sta...

Post 6 - Future Studies

FINALLY THE LAST BLOG OF THE SEMESTER!! In this last post I will talk about future studies...  The truth is that it's difficult for me to decide and think about the future, that is why I have delayed writing this post. Although with the quarantine I have had several vocational crises... (I have wanted to study from law, to costume design), I have tried to focus on public administration and master's degrees that are related to this career, because I'm definitely going to continue studying it. As I said in the previous blog, I'm so interested on gender issues, and I want to dedicate myself to work on it. For that, I need tools that delve into the subjet, that's why I started searching and I found a Master in Gender and Culture Studies, with mention in Social Sciences, on the University of Chile. However I would like to study abroad, in London, but it's a big risky step.  I would prefer a part-time course because it's better than distance learning. The minimum...

Post 3 - The dogs I live with

Hi! On this third blog I will talk about the dogs that are living in my house, because they are important to me and they have kept me company in the quarantine. They are two poodle, their names are Gary and Ema. Gary came home on january of 2016, it was son of the neighborg's dog (I don't know why this sound very funny?) and Ema came home on july, she came for a coworker of my dad has dogs and they had puppies. Before we can't have pets because with my family lived in a little house, si the dogs don't have space to play, and with my brother we was so young to have this responsability of taking care, take they out for a walk.  Also I didn't like dogs, I once had fish like pets because i though that they were calmer. Gary and Ema are so different. Gary it's more calm, passive, loving, kind and he likes so much go out for a walk. Instead Ema is fighter, playful and also affectionate. Actually now she is licking my face Here I attach photos, Gary is bigger than Ema...
